Once you register with Genie9 and sign in to the Service, you are not anonymous to Genie9.
When registering with Genie9, you provide Personal Data, which may include company name, industry, number of employees, phone number, your title, city, state, country, zip code, a user name, and a confirmed email address. When backing data up with the Service, you send us that data and you also are sending file system information, including names of files and directories. Genie9 may also record your IP address when you submit information.
Genie9 also may collect, at your option, certain preference and demographic information from you.
All information collected by Genie9 is used for internal purposes of providing the Service, providing support to users, and to improve services. Aggregating non-identifying information supplied by users allows Genie9 to understand its user base and to improve services.
Genie9 may also use your company name, logo, and feedback for marketing purposes. For example, Genie9 may use information you provide to contact you to further discuss your interest in our products or services and to send you information regarding Genie9 and its partners, such as information about promotions or events.
To protect your account information, please keep your password secure.
All Users may opt to remove their Personal Data from our live database by contacting Genie9 and canceling their Genie9 user account. Users of the Genie9 Services may also cancel their user account by logging into their account, selecting My Account, and clicking on Delete Account or request removal from the person who added them to the account.
Genie9 does not intentionally gather Personal Data about visitors who are under the age of 13.
We will not sell or market the email addresses or other collected personal information of registered Users to third parties.
We will not view the files that you backup, this includes, but is not limited to, your call logs, contacts, and SMS backed up from the apps. Data is stored in our datacenters for your backup purposes only, and you only can view them when you restore.
We may view your file system information (file extensions, sizes, etc. but not your file contents) to provide technical support.
You acknowledge and agree that Genie9 may occasionally send you administrative communications regarding your account or the Service via email.
Account and User Data Deletion
You have control over your personal information in the BigMIND backup solution and can request its deletion at any time. Whether you want to remove specific files or permanently delete your entire account, we aim to make the process clear, accessible, and compliant with applicable laws.
What Data We Process and How We Use It
You can visit Genie9 websites without revealing any personal information. However, when you register for a member account, create an account using Facebook, subscribe to a newsletter, purchase a product, or use certain services, we may need to collect personal information. This can include:
- Your name, email address, and, in some cases, your company contact information.
We use this data to:
- Set up and maintain your user account.
- Provide requested services, features, and product functionalities (e.g., storing and managing your data within our services).
- Communicate with you regarding new features, updates, support inquiries, or security alerts.

All data is processed in accordance with applicable laws and is safeguarded to ensure its confidentiality, integrity, and security.
Requesting Deletion of Your Personal Data
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time. This option is available whether or not you can log into your account, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all users.
Data Deletion Via Email Request (Applicable Before Logging In or If You Cannot Log In):
If you prefer not to—or are unable to—access your account, you can still request data deletion:
- Send an email to bigmindsupport@genie9.com.
- Include the email address associated with your account and proof of identity (if applicable).
- Clearly state that you wish to delete your personal data or cancel your account.
Data Deletion Via Web Console (If You Have Direct Access):
- Log in to your account through the Web Console.
- Navigate to Account Settings.
- Select Delete Account. Confirming this action will permanently remove your personal data from our systems.
Data Deletion Via Mobile App:
- Open the Mobile App.
- Access the left menu and choose Web Console.
- Log in using your credentials.
- Go to Account Settings.
Select Delete Account to initiate data deletion.
If You Were Added by Another User:
If your account was created on your behalf by someone else (e.g., a team member or administrator), you may request removal by:
- Contacting the individual who added you.
- Or emailing us directly at bigmindsupport@genie9.com, including the associated email address and a request for removal.
Verification and Timeline for Deletion
- Verification: Upon receiving a deletion request, we will verify your identity to ensure the request is authentic and prevent unauthorized actions.
- Deletion Timeline: We strive to remove your personal data from live databases within 30 days of receiving the request.

- Purpose: The data accessed via Google Workspace APIs is used solely for the purpose of providing backup and restore services as requested by the user.
- User Control: Users have complete control over the data they choose to backup to or restore from Google Drive.
- Data Security: We employ industry-standard security measures to protect user data during transit and storage.
No Use for AI/ML Development:
We explicitly affirm that data accessed via Google Workspace APIs, including Google Drive, is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized Artificial Intelligence (AI) and/or Machine Learning (ML) models.

Security Measures
Genie9 uses industry-standard security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. Although we make good faith efforts to store the information collected by Genie9 in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, Genie9 cannot guarantee complete security. Further, while we take reasonable steps to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party “crackers” from obtaining this information.
You may, at any time, choose to correct or update the information you have submitted to Genie9 by updating your account on our website.
If you cancel your account, your Personal Data and other information may be retained in our archive or backup records.
If you have a dispute or complaint about privacy on a Genie9 website, we kindly ask that you attempt first to resolve the issue directly with Genie9 by emailing support@genie9.com.
Genie9 reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to revise, amend, or modify this policy and our other policies and agreements at any time and in any manner. Notice of any revision, amendment, or modification of this policy will be posted on Genie9 websites, and a User’s continued use of the Service will signify agreement to such changes.
Web Push Notifications
We provide news and updates on our sites via web push notifications. To benefit from this free service, operated with our push provider WonderPush https://www.wonderpush.com, you must first subscribe by clicking on an authorization request controlled by your browser and your device when you visit our website.
The navigation data that we could store and process to operate this service and send you relevant messages is anonymized and kept on WonderPush servers for a maximum of 90 days and never shared with third parties. We do not store any recognizable data, including IP addresses, about you or your device in connection with the push notification service.
