Transcription is the other big one. Most transcription tools and speech-to-text services either require audio or will extract it themselves anyway. Doing it first means a much smaller upload and, if you are running a local transcription model, considerably less work for it.
For editors and producers it is about reuse: lifting a voiceover, an interview answer or a piece of location sound out of a clip to use elsewhere.
