Version Count
Keep only the last N versions per file; older versions are removed automatically.
Version Age
Delete versions older than X days — useful for time-based compliance (e.g. 7-year then expire).
Both
Combine count + age for the tightest control: "keep 10 versions AND delete anything older than 180 days."
