Encrypted before it touches disk
Every chunk is AES-256-GCM encrypted with a per-device key before it's written. A stolen NAS or USB drive yields ciphertext, not your files.
Survives the unplugged USB
Drive disconnects mid-backup? The agent pauses, probes every 30 seconds for up to 2 hours, and resumes the same backup from checkpoint when it's back. No corrupt images, no starting over.

Is the 5-user free tier going away?+
5 users free is a founding offer through August 30, 2026. Sign up before then and you keep all 5 seats free for life — we grandfather founding accounts permanently. After that date, new free accounts start at 2 users; existing founding accounts are unchanged.
Can I add more users than 5 on Free?+
No — the free tier is capped (5 users for founding signups before Aug 30, 2 after). Plus (10 users) is $59/year flat.
Does Free expire?+
No. No 30-day trial, no feature lockouts — free forever as long as you're within limits. And if you join before August 30, 2026, your 5-user founding allowance is locked in for life.
What happens at year 8?+
Founding users (joined before Aug 30): same 5 users, same $0, forever. We grandfather you and we don't deprecate the free tier.
Can I run it on a server?+
