Send an idea#
- Click your account card at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Request a feature. It is also in Ctrl+K and in Settings ▸ About.
- Write your idea: what you would like it to do, and what it would help you with.
- Check Answer me at. Signed in, it is your sign-in address; change it, or clear it to send the idea without your name.
- Press Send idea. You get a reference such as IDEA-7K3Q9P.
It works in every edition, signed in or not.
What is sent#
Your idea and the address to answer go to Genie9 with what Sent with it shows in the window: the app's version, your edition, the app's language and the Windows version. This PC's device ID goes too, so one PC cannot send a flood of ideas. Signed in with an address to answer, your account goes with it; with Answer me at cleared, the idea goes without your account. No logs, no file names, and never your files. To send logs about a problem, use Send to support instead.
Hearing back#
With an address, Genie9 writes if it has a question about your idea, and when a version of GBM AI has it. Five ideas an hour can be sent from one PC.
