Does it work with my existing cameras?

Yes. Sentinel works with any ONVIF camera and connects by RTSP, so there's no proprietary hardware to buy and no rip-and-replace. An on-site agent auto-discovers ONVIF cameras with WS-Discovery, or you can add a stream by RTSP directly.

Who owns the data?

In on-premise and air-gapped mode, footage, face embeddings, event records, and audit trails all live on infrastructure you own and control — nothing has to leave your network for the platform to work. Where your most sensitive data lives is a decision you make, not a constraint the platform imposes.

Watching a person requires a recorded lawful basis with a document reference and expiry, privacy controls are on by default, and subject-access requests — export or erase — are handled from a single workflow on the clock. We sell the outcome, not the biometric — but every use of it is on the record. Reads can require a recorded reason, every search is logged, and role-based access controls who can run them. Combined with the lawful-basis requirement and the tamper-evident audit, you can show exactly who looked at what, when, and why.
