PRO · ASK SENTINEL
Ask your cameras a question. Get an answer you can cite.
Ask in plain language from any page. Sentinel looks through your own cameras, recordings, detections, plates and cases — with exactly the permissions you have — and answers with a citation behind every claim. By default names never leave your servers, and every lookup is on the record.
Every claim points at a record you can open.
Every claim points at a record you can open.
Ask which cameras a plate passed and whether anything travels with it. The answer gives the route, the reads and the conclusion — each statement carrying a numbered citation to the read, camera or case behind it, followed by what Sentinel could not conclude.
- Numbered citations to the exact records each sentence rests on
- What was not concluded, said plainly — and the next questions worth asking
- A timeline or map of the reads when the answer is about movement
- The lookups it ran listed under the answer, and the count of verified citations
A plate question answered on a demo estate — every claim cited.
Suggested questions built from what you actually hold.
The Ask page opens with questions filled in from your own estate — a plate read at the most cameras this week, the latest open case, a camera with gaps — so the first answer is about your cameras, not a demo.
- Grouped by estate, vehicles and plates, cases — and on Sovereign, people and registries
- Only questions this operator is allowed to ask appear
- Your sessions are listed below, searchable, kept for the retention period
- The same analyst is one key away on every page: Ctrl+/
The first question is about your estate, not a demo.
Questions it answers
The questions investigators ask every day.
Each of these runs as a short chain of read-only lookups, and each answer cites the cameras, reads, cases or recordings it came from.
Which cameras went quiet overnight, and since when?
Camera health and reachability, answered with the cameras themselves as citations — open one and you are on its page.
Which cameras had gaps in yesterday’s recordings, and why?
Recording coverage per camera, each gap with its reason — the camera was off, unreachable, or outside its schedule.
A witness remembers part of a plate. Which registrations match this week?
A partial plate with wildcards becomes a short list of real registrations, each with its reads, first and last seen, and the cameras.
Which cameras did this plate pass, and does any vehicle travel with it?
The route camera by camera, and the vehicles read at the same cameras within seconds of it — how often, and every shared read.
Summarise this case and list the open leads.
A case read back to you with its evidence cited — and a draft narrative you can save straight into the case file.
Does this person meet anyone regularly? Where, and how strong is the tie?
On Sovereign, the analyst reads persons, pattern-of-life and associates too — still one cited record at a time.
Built to be trusted
An analyst you can hold to account.
A fluent answer is easy. An answer you can defend afterwards — in a review, in a report, in court — is what Ask Sentinel is built for.
Citations checked before you see them
Every claim carries a numbered citation. Before an answer reaches the screen, Sentinel checks that each citation points at a record a lookup actually returned in that turn — a citation to anything else is rejected.
Handles to the model, names on your screen
By default the AI model reasons over handles — P-3 for a person, V-1 for a vehicle, C-2 for a case — and Sentinel swaps the real names back in on your screen. Sending names takes your data-protection officer’s sign-off.
The same permissions as the pages
Ask Sentinel reads through the same doors an operator uses: role, edition, privacy suppressions and reason prompts all apply. A person hidden from the directory is hidden from the analyst too.
Your organisation decides what it declines
An administrator chooses which kinds of question Sentinel declines and whether a wide listing first asks for a reason. The answer says who decided — and the choice itself is on the audit trail.
What it could not establish, it says
Each answer ends with what was not concluded and the follow-up questions worth asking. Sentinel does not score people or guess at what a record does not show.
Every lookup on the record
Questions, the lookups behind them and the reasons given are logged with the asker. Sessions are kept for the retention period your organisation sets, and erasure requests reach them too.
How it works
From a question to a cited answer.
Ask
Press Ctrl+/ on any page, open the Ask page, or start from a suggested question built from your own records. English or Arabic.
Look it up
Sentinel calls its read-only lookups — cameras, recordings, detections, plates, cases — under your permissions, and shows you which ones it ran.
Answer with sources
The answer arrives with a citation behind every claim, a map or timeline where one helps, what was not concluded, and the next questions to ask.
Keep it
Save the answer to a case file with its citations, or open any cited record and carry on the investigation from there.
By edition
What Ask Sentinel can read on each plan
| Core | Shown, locked — the panel explains what Ask Sentinel does and how to upgrade |
| Pro | Cameras and camera health · recording coverage and gaps · detections · plates: sightings, partial-plate search, vehicles travelling together, plates seen at two scenes · cases · uploaded videos |
| Sovereign | Everything in Pro, plus persons, pattern-of-life, associates, watchlists, deviations, counter-surveillance, the daily briefing and connected-registry lookups behind a recorded reason |
Each lookup still checks the asking operator's own rights — a member without plate search does not get the plate questions.
