What each tier unlocks.

Your monthly commitment sets your wholesale prices and your limits. Explorer is a free, pay-as-you-go account — you can sell from day one at 10% off list, funded purely by credit top-ups, with no commitment. Starter and up commit you to deeper wholesale. Higher commitment means lower per-seat wholesale, more custom domains and a higher level of support.

Per-user wholesale

What you pay Genie9 for each plan, by tier.

DR-Only, Standard and Pro at every commitment level. The Explorer column is the pay-as-you-go wholesale (10% off list); from Starter on, your wholesale drops further as your commitment rises. These are explicit catalog dollars — not retail minus a percentage.

Plans reach their deepest discount at Enterprise — Standard $10 → $3, Pro $24 → $7.20. You set the retail price your customers pay and keep the difference. The legacy “basic” plan is not offered.

Margin protection

Add-ons discount less than plans — on purpose.

Storage, database and AI Lens add-ons get smaller per-tier discounts than the base plans, so your add-on margin stays healthy. Hot Storage 1TB only reaches roughly 60% off at Enterprise ($15 → $6, versus the plans' ~70%), and AI Lens Medical only about 47% off ($15 → $8) and is flat across Starter/Growth ($12) and across Business/Scale ($10). There is one AI Lens — Medical. Workspaces are a base-plan feature, kept only as a legacy read-only line.

Storage (Hot / Cold / Deep Freeze), database backup (MSSQL / MySQL), extra servers and AI Lens Medical. The Explorer column is the pay-as-you-go wholesale (10% off list); each tier sets an explicit add-on wholesale. Deep Freeze, MSSQL, MySQL and AI Lens Medical are not available on DR-Only; extra servers are account-level.

Which price wins

Price-resolution precedence.

When a seat is provisioned, the wholesale price is resolved in a fixed order. The cosmetic discount percentage on a tier is never used in the math — it is advisory only.

1 · Admin override

A per-partner pricing override set by Genie9 admins always wins, if present.

2 · Distributor template

A partner under a distributor takes the distributor pricing template ahead of its own tier.

3 · Partner-tier price

Otherwise the explicit wholesale for the partner’s own commitment tier applies.

4 · Explorer pay-as-you-go price

If nothing else is set, the Explorer pay-as-you-go price (10% off list) is the fallback.

Yearly = monthly × 10 (two months free). Custom-plan wholesale is recomputed live on every read: total = (base per seat + Σ per-seat add-ons) × seats + Σ account add-ons. The advisory tier discount percentage is never part of this calculation.
