Priced by the terabyte, not the person.
For the data you must keep and rarely touch.

More than 100 TB? Talk to us — we price large estates individually. Under 10 TB? Resilience with a storage add-on is usually the better deal.
Getting it back
Cheap storage is easy. Getting it back is the product.
Raw storage buckets have no concept of a restore — just downloads you have to orchestrate yourself. Every Vault plan restores everything, as often as you need, with a fast path for the day it actually matters.
From Hot Storage
Immediate · always free
Your most recent backups live here — around 15% of the plan. Browse them and pull anything back with no wait and nothing to arrange. This is where a restore starts unless the data is old enough to have tiered down.
From Cold Storage
The rest of your capacity, and the reason a terabyte costs what it does. Cold data comes back in full — you just choose how fast.
Standard — 3 to 12 hours
Free, unlimited, any volume. The normal way back.
Emergency — 2 to 6 minutes
For the day it actually matters. Every plan includes an annual allowance (250 GB to 2 TB by tier); restore credits extend it beyond that.
We never meter your recovery. Restore is unlimited on every plan — the only thing you can pay for is getting it back faster.
Exactly what you get — and what you don't.
Vault is the capacity family. It backs data up and gets it back. The machine-level recovery and collaboration features live in Resilience, and we would rather you knew that now than after you had paid.
In every Vault plan
No tiers, no upsell — the 10 TB plan has the same features as the 100 TB one.
- Backup agent for Windows, macOS and Linux
- Servers — physical and virtual
- MySQL and MSSQL database backup
- Automated storage tiering (hot → cold)
- Unlimited restore — any volume, 3–12 hours, always free
- Emergency 2–6 minute restore included every year
- Versioning and retention policies
- Audit log, SSO / SAML and role-based access
- 22 cloud storage connectors
Not in Vault — buy Resilience instead
If you need any of these, Vault is the wrong family whatever your volume.
Disaster recovery
Bare-metal imaging, USB recovery, boot verification — rebuilding a machine, not restoring its files.
Client workspaces
Shared spaces for collecting documents from people outside your organisation.
AI Lens
Face, label and OCR search across your images and documents.
Resilience starts at $5 / user / month and includes all three.

Grow without changing plan.
Extra capacity
Hot $15 · Cold $8 · Deep Freeze $5
Per TB per month. Add hot, cold or deep-freeze capacity to any Vault plan at any time. No minimum term and no early-deletion fee — cancel or move a tier down whenever you like.
Extra servers
$5/server/mo
Beyond the servers included with your plan. Windows and Linux, physical or virtual.
Additional databases
$10/database/mo
MySQL and MSSQL instances beyond the ones included with your plan, backed up on their own schedule.
Restore credits
From $10
Standard restore is always free and unlimited, and every plan includes an annual allowance of 2–6 minute emergency restore. Credits extend it beyond that, never expire, and are only drawn when you actually use them.
Questions
How is this different from Resilience?
Resilience is priced per user and protects people and their machines — it includes disaster recovery, client workspaces and AI Lens. Vault is priced per terabyte and protects data: servers, databases and bulk archives you must keep but rarely open. If you are counting people, choose Resilience. If you are counting terabytes, choose Vault.
What is the difference between hot and cold storage?
Hot Storage is the instantly-available slice — around 15% of your plan — where recent backups land, so they stay browsable and come back with no wait. Cold Storage is the rest, and it is what makes the per-terabyte price possible. Data moves from hot to cold automatically as it ages; you do not manage it. Cold data still restores in full — in 3–12 hours at no charge, or 2–6 minutes when you need it now.
How long does a restore take?
Anything in Hot Storage comes back immediately. Cold Storage restores in 3–12 hours at no charge — there is no limit on how much you restore — or in 2–6 minutes using the emergency allowance every plan includes, and restore credits beyond that.
Is there a limit on how much I can restore?
No. You can restore everything you have stored, as often as you need, at no extra charge. The only paid option is speed — and even that comes with an allowance: every plan includes 250 GB to 2 TB of 2–6 minute emergency restore each year, depending on tier. Beyond that, restore credits extend it.
Can I add disaster recovery later?
Yes. Talk to us about moving to Resilience or adding DR per machine — we will work out the change so you are not paying twice.
Do you charge per user?
No. Every plan includes a generous user cap and there is no per-seat fee. Users are how people sign in; capacity is what you pay for.
